totally focused on me and really heard my pain...

There are times in our lives when we need someone to give us direction. Definitely, friends are assets, but when they are in the same stage of life as you are, all they can offer is identification and understanding.

I came to a place in my life where I wanted more. I needed someone who had already been there, made mistakes, and could pass on their wisdom to me. That’s why I asked Pam to be my mentor.

What I appreciated about Pam was that she totally focused on me and really heard my pain and frustrations. She didn’t just give me awesome advice; she also knew how to draw things out of me. She let me figure out a lot on my own by giving me a picture of where I wanted to go and gently leading me in that direction.

She loved me unconditionally and showed no judgment of where I was at, which gave me the freedom to be totally vulnerable with her. I thank God for her life and her heart. K. M.

so in tune with what I need...

Pam has been a wonderful mentor to me in so many ways. She is such a wise woman and so in tune with what I need and what I am feeling.

I love how gentle and caring she is and her compassion for me and our group is so evident. She isn’t afraid to tell us what we need to hear, even though it may not be what we want to hear. We all are so accepting of her advice because she knows just the right way to word things.

I am so thankful for the many ways that Pam has given of herself to make me a more spiritual person. I know that she loves each woman in our group. Personally, I have learned so much from Pam and I believe that we have all grown from spending time with her. S. G.

a freedom from fear...

The thing I most appreciate about Pam as a mentor is that on every occasion of spending time with her, I find that I leave believing, trusting, and knowing that my future is secure. I can look at Pam and hear her words and experiences and know that God will be faithful to me as He has been faithful to her.

The power that is transferred from her to me is a freedom from fear. This is a wonderful gift, and one that allows me to enjoy the people and events surrounding me on a daily basis. What more could I want? Thank you, Pam for your love and trust. J. D.
