totally focused on me and really heard my pain...
There are times in our lives when we need someone to give us direction.
Definitely, friends are assets, but when they are in the same stage
of life as you are, all they can offer is identification and understanding.
I came to a place in my life where I wanted more.
I needed someone who had already been there, made mistakes, and
could pass on their
wisdom to me. That’s why I asked Pam to be my mentor.
What I appreciated about Pam was that she totally
focused on me and really heard
my pain and frustrations. She didn’t just give me awesome advice; she also
knew how to draw things out of me. She let me figure out a lot on my own by giving
me a picture of where I wanted to go and gently leading me in that direction.
She loved me unconditionally and showed no judgment
of where I was at, which gave me the freedom to be totally vulnerable
with her. I thank God for her life
and her heart. K. M.
